Commemorating the role of women in the fields of sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics and elevating their contribution in these domains by catering to their needs, providing them with opportunities and felicitating the meritorious, IEEE celebrates the eternal legacy of the women’s role in engineering by organizingan event called WIE. The paramount aim of WIE is exalting the role of women in engineering.

IEEE MSB every year orchestrates an event “SAMWAD“ under WIE, to realize the indomitable spirit of women and to praise and promote their significant contribution.

IEEE MSB every year orchestrates an event “SAMWAD“ under WIE, to realize the indomitable spirit of women alongside praise & promotion of their significant contribution to the society.
Events
Ideathon
- Level 1: WIE & Tech Quiz The initial round comprises a quiz assessing one's expertise and awareness of Women in Engineering (WIE) and technology in general. The quiz will consist of 25 questions designed to evaluate your general knowledge and mental aptitude as well. This will be an online quiz round. Only the team lead will be able to take this round.
- Level 2: Idea Submission During the second round, problem statements concerning various real life challenges will be given, shortlisted participants will need to pick any one of them according to their choice. Participants will submit PPT along with a 6-minutes video presentation outlining their solutions for the opted problem statement, focusing on creativity, innovation, along with the functional and technical design of the solution avoiding plagiarism. Students can also build prototype of their solutions & submit code in this round to earn extra edge over other participants. This will be a submission round!
- Level 3: Finale Presentation In the third and finale Level, shortlisted participants will be called for offline presentation to present their ideas before esteemed guests and judges of SAMWAD'23 inside the beautiful campus of MANIT Bhopal. This will be an Offline presentation round!
